The local community theater is producing Fly By Night.
A star-crossed prophecy. A lot of music. Just not a lot of light. In this darkly comic rock-fable, a melancholy sandwich maker's humdrum life is intersected by two entrancing sisters. A sweeping ode to young love set against the backdrop of the Northeast blackout of 1965. Fly by Night is a tale about making your way and discovering hope in a world beset by darkness.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $16 for students, but there is a special $2 off code for those ordering through Linfield's Family Weekend.
Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m.

Attend a sample class. Three Linfield professors will give a 15-minute lecture on a subject of interest to them. Professor Chris Dahlvig will talk about using Ted Lasso to teach accounting. Professor Sean Muir will give a talk titled, "Want to save the planet? Use concrete, make art." Professor Rachel Schley will give a sample from her Fascism and the Holocaust in Europe and North Africa class. You may learn something, but you won't be tested.
