FW Men's Basketball Game
The Linfield men's basketball team takes on the Seattle Mountaineers in an exhibition game at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27 in Ted Wilson Gymnasium. There is no charge for this event.

This clever and inventive play “never goes more than a minute without a laugh” (Nerdist) giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers “who are so lovable and relatable, you’ll leave the theater wishing they were in the stories all along” (Hollywood Life). Their “hilariously heartfelt!” (Metro) and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be.
Adults are $20, student tickets are $16. There is a $2 discount for those who register via Family Weekend.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday performances are 2 p.m.

The Stories Behind the Stories: Behind the Scenes of Dark Horse Comics' Most Iconic Projects

Since the 1980s, Dark Horse Comics has told the stories from some of the most iconic pop culture franchises – from Star Wars and Buffy the Vampire Slayer to The Mask, Hellboy and The Umbrella Academy (to name merely a few). CEO and Founder Mike Richardson shares some of his favorite stories behind the stories of this iconic media brand.

FW Explore Downtown McMinnville
Linfield is so lucky to have a home in the heart of McMinnville and Yamhill County. Spend an hour or two exploring downtown. Merchants are eager to welcome you. Have some bubble tea at the Velvet Monkey, find your next great read at Third Street Books, unearth a treasure at Oodles or Bella Casa, or simply scout out a restaurant or winery to try later.
