Nosferatu: Silent Film with Organ Accompaniment
Oct. 24th at 7pm in Ice Auditorium $10 General Admission Free for Students with Valid Student ID Dean Lemire will be performing his original score on the Alice Clement Memorial pipe organ. This was the first vampire film…and still reigns today as the granddaddy of all horror films. Starring Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a vampire who preys on the wife of his estate agent and brings the plague to their town. Director F. W. Murnau was a huge influence for Alfred Hitchcock… this film proved especially influential for PSYCHO. Feel free to wear your best Halloween outfit….we will be having a costume contest right before the show starts! |
Dali Quartet
Nov. 8th at 7pm in Delkin Recital Hall $10 General Admission Free for Students with Valid Student ID Linfield Lively Arts and the Department of Music present the Dali Quartet. The Dalí Quartet is acclaimed for bringing Latin American quartet repertoire to an equal standing alongside the Classical and Romantic canon. |
