On Saturday, Oct. 14, North America will experience an annular solar eclipse, when the moon passes between the sun and the Earth. McMinnville is in the band that will experience 80% annularity. The eclipse is expected to reach full effect around 9:15 a.m. Join us on the lawn near the science complex and hear from Professor Michael Crosser, of the Math and Physics Departments, who will describe what you are seeing.
Arrive to the Keck Science Center lawn around 8:30 a.m. and get a pair of glasses designed to allow you to watch the event safely.
