Distinguished Alumnus talk with Brent Barry '96

Brent Barry '96 serves as Superintendent of the Phoenix-Talent School District. He was in that role in 2020 as students and staff, already dealing with the pandemic, were hit by the Almeda fire, which resulted in 700 students (30% of the district's enrollment) losing their homes and everything else they owned the day before the first day of school. Hear Barry speak about how his liberal arts education helped prepare him to lead during a crisis for which there was no playbook. He will share the skills, developed and honed during his time at Linfield, that helped shape Phoenix-Talent's remarkable recovery and inspire hope within the community.
