Wine and Spirit Education Trust - Level 2
An internationally recognized and comprehensive course covering the major grape varieties, the important wine regions, the styles of wine they produce and how to use label information to understand a wine’s quality and style. Ideal for wine professionals with some experience and wine enthusiasts familiar with wines from around the world. Does not require Level 1 to register. The total qualification time for the Level 2 Award in Wines is 28 hours. This includes 17 instructor guided learning hours (of which one hour is for the examination) and 11 hours’ private study. It is recommended that you have read the book prior to your first day of class.
Online Courses:
- Learn at your own pace with this asynchronous format. Instructor support is available and there will also be one online live support session with a Linfield WSET instructor. Your e-textbook will be shipped directly to you.
- Cost: $650 includes course materials and exam. A Level 2 Wine Kit including 12 wines can be purchased and shipped to you for an additional $180 during the registration process.
