YET...
It's a relationship-first future
Join Linfield University's College of Business as we bring together business leaders
– and future business leaders – to examine the role relationships play in our business success.
Business transformation is happening at an accelerated pace. Through that acceleration, one thing remains constant: the role relationships play in shaping business success. As stated in Forbes Magazine, April 2024, “Whether navigating digital communication or fostering internal teamwork, prioritizing strong relationships is key to thriving in today’s fast-paced business landscape.” The role of relationships in business have transformed. In a world where personal and business intersect more than ever before, relationships, and the ability to form them and grow them, remain the key element in achieving career and business success. |
Linfield’s powerful half-day Business Symposium, Yet . . . will feature four influential keynote sessions to examine the Me, We, Collective, and Future relationships. The event will provide insight and understanding to help us all foster fruitful relationships.
Kicking off YET . . . will be Hoffman Construction’s CEO, David Drinkward discussing the need for today’s modern leaders to embrace and appreciate the whole employee. He’ll explain how Hoffman Construction has revolutionized its industry by making space for, and fostering, a relationship-first culture.
Next up, Slalom Consulting’s team showcase how they are helping leaders intentionally facilitate workplace connections, creating a purpose vision and leveraging these tools to help teams achieve personal and professional success. Slalom will also demonstrate for us, relationships do not mean proximity, as they will join us simultaneously from Ireland and Portland.
Following a short networking break, we’ll be joined by Linfield’s most storied Wildcat. With four World Series appearances, three World Championships, a World Series MVP, and a Golden Glove Award, Linfield’s Athletic Director, Scott Brosius will share what it took to turn the elite players in the world into the best team in the world. And, how that directly relates to building a world-class team in your business.
We’ll then close this year’s relationship-first YET . . . with a deep dive discussion and view into our future with noted futurist Steve Brown, also known as The Bald Futurist. Steve will highlight the importance relationships have played in business and society in the past and why, in today’s digital, matrixed and ever-changing world they will matter even more to your personal and business success in the future.
Don’t miss this exciting and unique opportunity to transform the future of your business through a focus on Relationships – First!
